Ontario Pow Day?

Mild weather ain't all bad. Sure it's tough with the lack of snow, but wet/mild days are basically Ontario pow days. Lakeridge opening night was a pow night. Couple runs, some side hits and a pretty full park with probably close to 2 dozen features.

Worst Case Scenario

Disclaimer: everyday is a day to go snowboarding and does not require any type of official designation.

Am I hating on World Snowboarding Day? No, not at all. But as stated above snowboarding shouldn't and isn't relegated to one day. Its something most of us try and do every chance we get and most have ditched work, school, people or whatever to go riding. There's just something about snowboarding. Best case scenario, the press and promo around World Snowboarding day reaches someone that never even thought about going snowboarding and they become as infected as you and I. Worst case scenario, it gives you an excuse to ditch work, school, people or whatever to get on snow.

Our friends at Horseshoe were holding some festivities so the choice of where to go was pretty easy. And since it was world snowboarding day and not world stand in tents day, everyone ended up riding, so half- hearted apologies to anyone who dropped by the empty tent. All photos by Connor Dudgeon.

Top of the World x PBR

Eric from Top of the World in Ottawa sent me this. To win a pair of PBR x UNION's they held a contest for loyal Top customers. This was the winning entry that was left on their facebook page.

Twenty three years and eleven months ago a young stud reppin a curly hockey mullet and a John Holmes duster that would put any of us to shame, took a sexy young thing on a date in his dad's 77 El Camino. Never missin a chance to impress her, the smooth sonuvabtich - rockin aviators and a half chewn toothpick of course - wooed the shit out of her all the way up to Lookout Point. Though she first resists his irresistible temptations, he continues to serenade this young babe with the sounds of Starship, Peabo Bryson, Air Supply, and REO Speedwagon. Slowly he leans over and reaches across her trembling lap and pops open the glove compartment where he unveils two Pabst Blue Ribbon stubbies sitting perfectly chilled. Nine months later I was born -

PDX

Sales meeting season Is arguably one of the best times of year. It's kinda like getting a preview of what your getting for your birthday. Plus you get to travel to great places and do great things with great people. Holden meeting was no exception.
