A toranado of blog awesomeness
Today was a fun day for driving, super sunny, lots of snow and good conversation/electronic banter (ed - we here at MHG do not condone the use of electronic devices while operating a motor vehicle) to fill the void. First, I talked with Andrew Skelhorn who's in town and just recently returned from a Quebec filming mission with the 6months2live crew consisting of Kyle Taylor, Trevor Jennings, Andrew Kirn and fellow Union binding brethren Jamie Corneal. Oh plus the legendary steak eater, lover of pork products and for this trip Richard Roth, and Kontakt productions Adam D. All good guys to travel with. Check out episode one of the monthly episodes embedded below:
Then oddly enough Richard emailed me this link on Snowboard Canada detailing the whole entire trip. Coincidence? hmmm sure. Anyhow, the bands got a few new members but it's almost back together!! Almost

Emails
Yesterday was the day. Actually, yesterday and today are the days. Ummm on second thought tomorrow is probably going to be the day as well. It started snowing in Southern Ontario Saturday night and the result was a mellow 20 cm. But it then continued to snow all day Sunday and Monday with a little more accumulation. Push's Matt Houghton told me Blue Mtn was incredible. I got a text early Sunday morning from Alcatraz's Jay King claiming legitimate pow turns at Dagmar and Mark Watson from Kahuna showed up at my house today spraying about how good Horseshoe was (which was later confirmed by Chris Savage at Corbetts). Watson then proceed to borrow a 162 Black Death and poach the remaing pow at Lakeridge. All and all, everyone seemed to get some. This is what I did:

Oh and upload this email I was sent about Dustin Craven
Missing teeth, hot babes, big methods, and extra spending money.

For your viewing enjoyment: Last Week
Due to severly impaired typing skills this ones going to be somewhat short. To recap TJ Schneider was in town last week with Capita photographer Joel Fraser and No Limit's Mikey Scott. Aside from creating a deadly combination of funk in my basement the crew was in town filming local riders for Tj's Snowboard Realms. Matt Bujok's got a great frontboard at that church on the hill in that town we won't mention. I've wanted to see somewhat hit this since like 1982..or somthing. Taylor Hill has some styled ollies to flat, Gauley's got the gap,Dani Browns got a bunch of shots, plus Justin Jopling, Jamie Corneal and more. Enjoy and Thank Tj, Joel, Mikey and everyone that came out.

Mellow Saturdays
This past week was a little crazy, and since the next few months are going to be ridiculously intense, Beaver and I decided to spend a Saturday taking it back to our roots. Building our own hits and basically having fun outside with new snow and no lift lines. And since I just got a new Mac what better time to get a couple of shots, dork around with Imovie and showcase some mediocrity!! Or so I thought.....

Wednesday - in a Tornado of Good Times with Snowboard Realms and Alcatraz
Wednesday started off as one of those great days where nothing could have made it better! Absolutely, nothing! 15 or so cm of new snow, an incredible group of people and Dagmar's fun mini bike park! See what I mean, how could it get any better! Alcatraz's Jay King put on the whole deal and was furiously doing laps through the OMP. I was at the bottom with all of next years Capita boards and Union Bindings and Jay's smile just kept getting bigger and bigger every lap! Beaver and I were in the tent with demo rookie Justin Jopling enjoying the non-stop comedy and constant heckling that is the demo experience. Jay wasn't the only one with a huge smile going by tent city residents. Sanctions Adam W and Simon, Alcatraz's Wayne Richard and pappa MO, The Boarding Huts Chris Steddy and Adrian, industry types like Houghton, Skin, Ricci, Sayer, Ciccone and of course Powling were mixing it up on-hill with the likes of Taylor Hill, Justin Jopling, Matt BujokSKI, Dani Brown, Natalie Gough and so forth and so on. I could continue on with this typhoon of name dropping but man I have stuff to do today (secret jib mission)and besides your going to see it when TJ post's the Ontario edition of Snowboard Realms. If you want more check out push.ca for another point of view and an interview with TJ about Snowboard Realms.

Snowboard Realms Ontario 2009
So Monday night at 2:30 am, actually I guess it would be more like Tuesday morning at 2:30 am, an entourage of good times arrived at my front door, marketing guy and Ontarian at heart, Mikey Scott showed up with the one and only TJ Schneider and C3 Photographer Joel Fraser. AFter a late start Tuesday morning, we headed out and visited some shops and were off to Lakeridge with the Switch crew for some hot Snowboard Realms action. The park was fun and you'll see some good trains in the Ontario realms with the likes of Matt Bujok, Dani Brown, Justin Jopling and Jamie Corneal. Oh and the 30 or so other guys, including The Boarding Huts Adrian Denzil to Switch's Scott Bingley to the infamous Beaver.
Thats it for now, but tonight were at Dagmar with the Alcatraz Crew Skate and Snow, so come out, and have some fun. This will likely be the last update till Friday but if you can't make it to Dagmar you'll definitely want to be at Horseshoe Thursday during the day to be part of the never ending train!!!

The Start of Something Awesome
Welcome to the possibly somewhat every other daily ramblings of MHG Sales. Prepare to expect the unexpected and the expected as well! Really all you're gonna find here is the digital documentation of a stuck on rinse lifestyle. You'd probably expect more from the first of soon to be many blog entries but.....you should probably lower your expectations.
