Dani Brown

Its funny cause it seems like only a few years ago Dani Brown was this lil grom girl that would show up at the dirtiest of jib comps. You know the ones, hay bales, hockey spit snow and mud...lots of mud. Apparently, that was then. Now Switch, Union, Capita and Coal's Dani Brown's been travelling to Utah, Vegas and riding well in local comps. Check out her recent contest results at Blue Mountain's Billabong Flaunt it on SBCwomens site.

Niagara Falls Honeymoon

There's always a kind of honeymooner vibe that seems to hang in the air when anyone mentions Niagara Falls. Images of heart shaped beds, foot deep red shag, knowing winks and hotel honeymoon packages might come to mind. All within a permanent midway featuring everything from carnival style arcades to wax museums to corn dogs. So when Alcatraz riders Matt Bujok (Capita, Union) and Bradley Hesson (Union, Signal) sent emails with photos from a recent trip to Niagara, I realized that theres more to this border town then the midway feel of the past and the casino of today.

Snowboard Realms, tomorrows gear today or last week if you were there

TJ Schneider gives you a glimpse into the last SIA show in Vegas, at least for a few years with the latest installment of the Snowboard Realms. Along with some forward thinking green-o-vations and a quick peek at next years Union and Capita lines. For the full experience shotgun 10 Tecates and put a plastic bag over your head to simulate the recycled air. You get the point its fun for a while but not something you want to do everyday.

post vegas haze now affects 1 in 5

I meant to do this before the Last Vegass, but things just got hectic with all the things I forgot to pack.....but I digress.

In a deal that reportedly involved some tense negotiations and hard fought battles, Andrew Skelorn is now riding for m h g, Capita Snowboards and Union bindings. Most of the details of the deal have not been fully disclosed, but there's murmurs of limitless amounts of chocolate chip cookies and undoubtedly bacon as well. photo Andrew Rusk. Skelhorn was recently in Ontario to negotiate prior to venturing off to Panorama for this Snowboard Canada trip with Russel Dalby. More to follow......
